This offers up 5 new additions for the Tiny D6 Universe. As of 0/25/2021, the pdf is $4.82 ($6.99); the softcover is $18.99; and the combo is $18.99 ($23.81).
The first entry is the last 9 adventures of The Return of Urlian for Tiny Dungeons 2E. 40+ pages of goodness. I’m of 2 minds about it. While it’s cool they decided to publish the remaining 9 parts collectively, it would have been equally cool to spread it out over the next 3 Zines. There is a lot going on here in the remaining parts. Gryphons, dragons, demons, liches, and even a boat race. We pick up with having to help the Formici deal with demons and that turns into going to a different dimension to deal with demons and liches and close the portals that were opened by the liches initially when the entered the dimension.
Next is a micro-setting for Tiny Frontiers called the Voluntold. The setting, per the author, is based on sci-fi such as: Red Dwarf, Ice Pirates, Star Wars, Star Trek, and others. The basic gist is you’re down and out and have no way to get off-world to one of Earth’s Colonies, so you join the Volunteer Military and hope you survive long enough to save up enough money to get to a colony and get established.
Third is Curious Items, Poisons, and Shops. It’s full of pastes, potions, and other physical items such as rose-colored glasses and perpetually swirling spoon.
Then we get what is said to be the last in the series of Beasts Beyond Bounds: Beasts from Australia. 9 creatures are included, such as the Bunyip, Malingee, and Mimi.
Lastly is a Tiny Encounters entry for Tiny Dungeons 2E: Special Delivery. The mission is to escort a jail cart to a nearby city and turn said person over to authorities and get paid. It’s sett up sandbox style, so you have everything you need to run it, with only broad strokes on how to get from A to B.
All in all, a good addition to the collection. It’s cool to me that Alan Bahr and GKG have commissioned so much extra goodness for the Tiny D6 brand. There is a Patron for GKG (which I’m not a member of), so anyone signed up for that gets early access to all the content. I’m okay with waiting for it to be available in book form as I would end up buying the physical version anyway and don’t have a need to access earlier. But that’s just me.
