We are an 18+ west marches style D&D server on Discord with a large, friendly player base. Join us for play by post and live voice games where you can use the time you spend playing to level up. (We use a leveling system based on hours played by a character, rather than milestone/XP based system)
Here are a few things that make our server special:
-There are players and DM’s in nearly every time zone, so it’s likely that you’ll find a game
-We have both voice and play by post options, so you’ll never be bored!
-We are newbie and LGBTQ+ friendly
-We use Official (WotC) content only
-Homebrew items and abilities are awarded and approved on DM discretion basis
-Multiple character slots
-Easy character creation and tracking options
-The Hotel uses google drive to keep your tracking sheets and character sheets available across the server, so you will need a google account. We recommend not using one with your full name on it.
-Character creation is done at lvl 3 with 35 Point Buy system. We have a calculator available in resources on our discord.
-Your character is allowed to participate in multiple worlds and gain various experience throughout their career, they exist in The Hotel as long as they are alive and can communicate and attain experiences from all the one shots they participated in, until they die, or retire.
-Items are split into tiers, based on level ranges, but are easily attainable, assuming you earn the money to get them, which can be either easy or hard, depending on who your character hangs with (and your choice).
-We support leveling past lvl 20!
