This was part of the Kickstarter and finally arrived. There are at least 3 more planned, with the intention of releasing those quarterly as noted in one of the updates for the game. The zine is available on DTRPG for $4.99 for the pdf and “pay what you want (pwyw)” for the journal. Not sure if there is any intent to do it as a physical copy on it or any of the other zines.
The zine itself is 29 pages and includes some new planets, sites, and archives for 4 general types of planets: fire, water, jungle, and frozen. It’s a good addition to an equally good game. The journal is pretty good as well. Each page gives you 3 prompts: a location, an emotion, and a technology. They are designed to help get your creative fluids going. The cassette is a cool addition. All backers received the songs in digital form, but Alan wanted to do a physical copy for everyone as well. The liner notes include a micro-game. Don’t know if there will be more after #4, but if not, they’ll likely expand the world (such as it is) more and give for a fuller experience.
Cassette? Who has a tape player anymore. Well…I do but I’m OLD!
Last E-zine I was part of was Big Iron Vault in the previous incarnation of the forum.
Are they intending this e-zine as a community resource or a pulpit?

Resource to my knowledge. And I’m old too. LOL
It’s a consequence of not dying.
